Oxford workshop explores energy, climate and behavior

I’ve just returned from presenting at a stimulating, exciting two-day workshop convened at Oxford University’s UKERC. The first of its kind, this workshop brought together climate activists, folks working on conversation-based projects (such as Carbon Conversations, which I reference often in my work), researchers and psychosocial researchers to explore what specifically do psychosocial approaches offer our work in climate change issues. This event had much overlap with the workshop I convened at UCL’s Energy Institute – a one-day workshop with climate scientists, researchers and psychoanalytic/psychosocial researchers – and signals a radical shift in how we are starting to think about innovating research and practices in this field. Please feel free to contact me for more information; the video and slides will be available soon on the UKERC website.
